Teach-In Tuesday: Key Issues in the NC Elections

Come to the 3rd and final installment of Teach-in Tuesdays! This week’s topic is key election issues in North Carolina. Students will rotate around to stations in which key professors and officials will present on an important issues in North Carolina elections and how the different candidate’s platforms address these issues.

Topics include education, immigration and employment from the following professionals:
-Jen Ferris, Progress NC (women’s health, reproductive health)
-Janet Hoy, Healthcare for All, NC on Medicaid expansion
-Laura and Diana, SUIE on immigration

This Teach-in Tuesday will take place in Union Room 3408 from 5-6 pm.

Teach-in Tuesdays are a collaboration between the Campus Y, NCPIRG, and Democracy NC to inform students on issues around the election. This is the last Teach-in Tuesday come out to get informed!
