Critical Condition: Injustices in the Justice System

North Carolina is one of the two remaining states to automatically try 16 year old kids as adults. Come learn about the school-to-prison pipeline and the Raise the Age campaign, and discuss and engage with a panel of experts on these issues.
Panelists- Bryan Proffitt, Durham Association of Educators; Brandy Bynum Dawson, Rural Forward North Carolina; Susanna Birdsong, ACLU of North Carolina; Peggy Nicholson, Youth Justice Project.
