Applications for 2019-2020 are now open!
Interested in social justice? Keen on photography/videography or strategic communication and social media? Then grow your understanding of social justice AND your communication skill-set as part of the Campus Y Communication Team. The team is comprised of graphic designers, writers, photographers, and more!
The Arc, the Campus Y’s blog and upcoming print journal, is looking for new members of our 2019-2020 team!
We’re looking for enthusiastic writers who care about social issues. Writers will share their opinions on a variety of topics, report on critical stories on both the national and local level, assist with editing other writers’ pieces, and engage with on-campus activists within and beyond the scope of the Campus Y. This content will be uploaded to the newly revamped website and potentially shared in our print journal. Apply to join our team here.
The Arc is also accepting submissions for our Fall 2019 edition.
The Arc acts as an inclusive, creative, and interdisciplinary outlet for UNC students to explore a variety of social issues. These topics include but are not limited to: identity, reproductive justice, environmentalism, immigration, gentrification, feminism, affordable healthcare, police violence, and LGBTQ+ rights. We’re accepting relevant essays, articles, short stories, artwork, zines, poems, and photography. Apply to have your work published here.
