Musical Empowerment Director Featured as “Hometown Hero”

In 2012, Musical Empowerment was accepted as one of the inaugural teams of the Campus Y’s CUBE social innovation incubator. During that first year, 12 Carolina students participated in Musical Empowerment. Today, the program supports more than 160 student-teacher pairs and has plans to keep expanding (read more at unc.edu).
