2019 Strategic Planning Process

The Campus Y is embarking on a student-led strategic planning process to take us from where we are now to where we want to be in 5 years. We want you to help decide where the Campus Y should focus its resources and energy in the future.

How can you participate?

This Fall we are conducting a survey to gather data and information about what the community wants and needs from the Campus Y. Regardless of whether you are currently or have ever been involved in a Campus Y program or committee, we are looking for your input. Take this brief, anonymous survey right now and as a bonus, you will be entered into a raffle for one of several Meantime Coffee giftcards. The survey should take around 7 minutes to complete will close on November 8, 2019 at 11:59 PM.

What does the process look like?

The Campus Y’s joint student and staff leadership initiated the process by hiring Donna Kaye and Jacqueline Beatty-Smith as consultants to develop a timeline and structure for how to collect data and turn that feedback into a 5-year plan. In August 2019, the Advisory Board, Campus Y Executive Board, Campus Y Staff, and student leaders from committees, the Bonner Leaders program, and the Global Gap Year program convened to kick-off the strategic planning process. Following a data collection period in Fall 2019, we will spend January 2020 discerning meaning from the data and set our 5-year goals. Stay tuned for a report to be released in early 2020.
