Smart Ventures for Smart Communities

What are smart communities? Smart communities are composed of smart people working with a smart economy and smart government to create a smart environment which they maneuver using smart mobility for smart living.

Interested in innovation, food, water and/or energy? Join us for a workshop focused on design thinking and pitch coaching for smart solutions at the intersection of these themes. This pre-summit workshop is for students, corporate and government employees, and interested citizens. We’ll build interdisciplinary teams, dig into design thinking with Liz Tracy, Director of HQ Raleigh, and learn to pitch an idea with Tim Flood, Professor of Management and Corporate Communication at UNC’s Kenan Flagler Business School. Breakfast, lunch, refreshments, pitch party, and networking reception included. The day will culminate in a pitch party to showcase the smart solutions we develop!
