Non Profit Industrial Complex Teach-in

March 2, 2017 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

“We have to remember that the purpose of our work is liberation, not the longevity of the organization.” – Ruth Wilson Gilmore

As we strive towards social justice, we must engage in on-going critical reflection to ensure that our work is truly in the service of liberation. However, there are many non-profits who prioritize resourcing their organizations over working themselves out of a job. Join us as we critically evaluate non-profit funding, programs, and administration through a radical lens in this teach-in with Maryse Mitchell-Brody.
